The inhabitants are right when they define this area as the ”largest ski area in Austria”. From its nine ski resorts (Going, Ellmau, Schaeffa, Söll, Itter, Hopfgartenand Brixen im Thale, Westendorf and Kelchsau) diverse interconnected ski areas can be reached, making up nearly 280km of perfect ski runs, all accessible with the same ski pass.
