Money back on your Dolomites ski pass? How to claim up to 30% compensation

Dolomiti Superski

Did you buy a ski pass for one of the twelve Dolomiti Superski resorts in the 2022/23, 2023/24 or 2024/25 winter? Then you may be able to get part of your money back. Since 15 October 2026, claims can be made through a dedicated online portal. Just don't leave it too long: the budget is limited and claims are handled on a first come, first served basis.

In a nutshell

  • The background: Dolomiti Superski is offering compensation following proceedings by the Italian Competition and Market Authority (AGCM).
  • Who qualifies? Anyone who bought a valley ski pass (valid for 1 to 31 days) for one of the twelve resorts in the 2022/23, 2023/24 or 2024/25 season. Area-wide Dolomiti Superski passes and season passes are excluded.
  • The compensation: Your choice of 20% of the price paid back into your bank account, or 30% as credit towards a new ski pass.
  • How to claim: Since 15 October 2026, through the Dolomiti Superski online portal. You'll need your ski pass number or proof of purchase.
  • Good to know: Each resort has a fixed budget, and claims are processed in the order they come in, while funds last.

Why is money being paid back?

The scheme follows an investigation into Dolomiti Superski by the Italian Competition and Market Authority (AGCM). The case was closed without any finding of wrongdoing, but the twelve resorts committed to the authority to offer refunds or discounts to customers from three winter seasons. A total of 30 million euros has been set aside: 12 million for refunds and 18 million for discount credit. According to Dolomiti Superski, the aim is not only to reward loyal customers but also to maintain the high standards skiers have come to expect in the region.

Which ski passes qualify?

Having a Dolomites selfie on your phone doesn't automatically entitle you to compensation. You qualify if you bought a so-called valley ski pass for one of the individual resorts, such as Val Gardena, Kronplatz or 3 Zinnen Dolomites. The pass must have been bought in the 2022/23, 2023/24 or 2024/25 season and been valid for at least 1 and at most 31 days. Discounted and promotional passes count too, as do day passes paid for via Telepass or Dolomiti SkiMyWay. For combined passes, such as five days in Val di Fiemme plus two days on the full Dolomiti Superski area, only the single-resort part counts.

The big Dolomiti Superski passes, which let you ski across all twelve resorts, are not included. Nor are season passes, half-day passes, Superski Family, Superdays, Valle Silver, the Ikon Pass, or passes valid only for a small zone or a single lift. Cancelled or already refunded passes don't count either, and neither do passes from the 2025/26 season. The Skirama Adamello Brenta resorts, such as Madonna di Campiglio and Val di Sole, are also excluded.

20% back or 30% credit

If you meet the conditions, you have two options. You can get 20% of the recognised purchase amount refunded by bank transfer, or take 30% as discount credit towards a new ski pass. On a recognised amount of €100, that means €20 in your account or €30 in credit. If your documents don't show exactly which type of pass you bought, Dolomiti Superski calculates a flat-rate amount instead. In that case, only the discount credit is available.

If you go for the credit, there are a few rules to bear in mind. When you apply, you choose the resort where you'll spend it, and that choice is final. The credit can cover all or part of a new valley ski pass (1 to 31 days) in that resort, even if the pass is already discounted. Anything left over stays on the same code for next time. The credit is valid until the end of the 2028/29 winter season, isn't tied to your name and can be passed on to someone else. You can redeem it at the ticket offices of your chosen resort or online, by entering the code at the final step of checkout.

How to claim

Claims can only be made through the online portal; requests sent by email won't be accepted. You can start your claim from the Dolomiti Superski information page. In short, it works like this:

  1. Log in to the Dolomiti Superski online shop with your MyDolomiti profile, or create one.
  2. Open the menu in the top-right corner, select 'Benefits AGCM', enter your mobile number and accept the conditions.
  3. Click 'Add a request' and select your ski pass from your profile or orders, or look it up using the card number.
  4. Choose a refund (enter your IBAN) or credit (choose the resort), then submit your claim.

You can include several ski passes in one claim, including passes for family members or for different resorts. If you choose credit, the amounts are combined into a single credit for the first resort you selected. Want credit for different resorts? Then submit separate claims. Check your choices carefully: once submitted, you can't switch between refund and credit.

Lost your ski pass number?

If you no longer have your card number, you can have your purchase checked using documents such as a receipt, invoice or proof of payment. In that case, you'll need a separate claim for each purchase and each resort. The amount is reserved for you until the check is complete. If customer service asks for further documents, you have 15 days to upload them. Miss that deadline and your claim lapses, and you lose your place in the queue. You can follow the status of your claim in the portal, and you'll be notified of the outcome by email.

Dolomiti Superski compensation: frequently asked questions

Which ski passes qualify for compensation?

The scheme covers valley ski passes for a single resort valid for 1 to 31 days, including discounted ones. They must have been bought in the 2022/23, 2023/24 or 2024/25 winter season.

Does the scheme also cover the Dolomiti Superski pass?

No. Dolomiti Superski passes, season passes and passes from the 2025/26 season are excluded. The compensation only applies to ski passes for the individual resorts.

What exactly does the compensation involve?

You choose between a refund of 20% of the recognised purchase amount by bank transfer, or 30% discount credit to spend on a new ski pass in the resort you select when you apply.

When and how can I claim?

The Dolomiti Superski online portal has been open since 15 October 2026. Log in with your MyDolomiti profile and submit your claim under 'Benefits AGCM'. No fixed closing date has been announced, but the scheme only runs while funds last, and claims are handled in the order they are received.

How do I know if there's still money available?

Each of the twelve resorts has its own budget for refunds and its own budget for discount credit. The portal shows how much is left for each resort and each option. The budget for discount credit is spread across three winter seasons (2026/27, 2027/28 and 2028/29), so the scheme will keep running in later years too.

What if I booked through a tour operator?

A tour operator can't claim on your behalf; you have to submit the claim yourself as the end customer. Ask your tour operator for a statement confirming the ski pass was bought through them, and include your proof of payment. An invoice for the whole package holiday isn't enough if it doesn't show that you bought a ski pass.

Can a ski club claim on behalf of its members?

Yes, provided the club, association or group bought only ski passes for its members or participants. The organisation must prove the purchase and declare that it will pass the compensation on in full to those entitled to it. This doesn't apply to packages that include other services.

Can I make any further claims afterwards?

No. Under the terms and conditions, accepting the refund or credit means giving up any further claims against Dolomiti Superski and the twelve resorts relating to the matter investigated by the AGCM.
