In 2015, Beaver Creek hosts the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships and luxury is guaranteed for everyone. This ski resort is also known as the St. Moritz of the United States and offers many 5-star accommodation options, gourmet restaurants and an excellent choice of entertainment on and off the ski slopes. No other US ski resort is so concerned about the welfare of his ski guests, which of course has its price. Whoever spends their ski holidays in Beaver Creek, will need to have two or three credit cards to hand!
In the Beaver Creek ski area, there are several lifts that take you up to an astounding altitude of 3,488 meters. Up here on the Beaver Creek Mountain you will not only be surrounded by stunning panoramic views of the valley, but also you will have access to one of the hardest ski runs in the world. The "Birds of Prey" is one of the most demanding World Cup ski slopes and hosts the Alpine Ski World Cup 2015. Also located in the Beaver Creek ski area are three varied snow parks: Park 101, Zoom Room and The Rodeo - a terrain park for experts with up to 18-meter jumps! Other highlights include a children's adventure land, free cookies on the ski lifts, plenty of quiet pistes, tranquil winter hiking trails and some great apres-ski activities in Beaver Creek Village.
