Ski area Montecampione

Montecampione in short

  • Height: 1200 - 2000 metres
  • Near Verona airport
  • Relaxed and family-friendly&#x0D
  • Young and modern

Montecampione is a ski area located near Lake Iseo, on the edge of the Presolana Mountains. This small Italian ski area has a hip, young and modern vibe. With 35km of pistes divided into 4 blue, 12 red and 4 black pistes, beginners and experts alike can find something to challenge themselves on at Montecampione. The ski area is located between 1200 and 2000m above sea level and is also a popular ski touring destination. Montecampione is easy to reach from the nearby cities of Bergamo and Brescia, which receive their fair share of visits from tourists who are on their way to nearby Lake Garda.

Montecampione isn’t necessarily the first ski area that comes to mind when someone mentions skiing in Italy – you’re more likely to think of the Dolomiti Superski, or maybe Sestrière. However, Montecampione is a fantastic option for people who don’t mind driving an hour or two longer to get to a quiet, family-friendly ski area off the beaten track. Alternately, Montecampione is located just an hour-and-a-half drive from Verona airport.
