Montecampione (Italy)

Montecampione is a small village situated not far from Lake Iseo and the eponymous town. Located in Lombardy’s Presolana Mountains, the region is full of stunning lakes and mountain peaks that make it a popular tourist destination in summer and winter alike. The nearby Lake Garda is particularly popular with international tourists. In the winter, the region surrounding Lake Iseo and the village of Montecampione offers no shortage of outdoor activities.

In the winter, Montecampione becomes a winter sports destination par excellence, where skiers and snowboarders flock to ride on 35km of slopes in the small but modern ski area. This is the perfect destination for a sneaky weekend escape or for ski holidays with the family. The Montecampione ski area is located just 1 hour and 40 minutes’ drive from Verona airport, or about 2 hours from Milan airport, making it fairly easy to reach from the UK.
