In honour of the launch of the New Klagenfurt Airport, Austria is making it cheaper and easier to get to the Alps this year with an incredible partnership between easyJet, Klagenfurt Airport and the ski areas of Nassfeld and Schladming Dachstein. Read on for more details on how to claim your free transfer from the airport to the slopes.

Free transfers to ski resorts in Austria

Klagenfurt Airport has made a deal with several of the largest hotels in Nassfeld (one-hour drive) and Schladming Dachstein (two-hour drive) whereby hotel guests who fly into Klagenfurt Airport with easyJet qualify for free transfers to the hotel. This kind of transfer often costs over €200 (£170). After landing at Klagenfurt Airport, it's less than a 2-hour shuttle to the ski areas. Three hotels in the city of Klagenfurt also qualify for the deal.

easyJet flights starting at £11

Fly from Gatwick to Klagenfurt with easyJet and it could cost you as little as £11 if you pick your dates carefully. This makes the Austrian deal one of the best deals going this winter. Flights run twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and flight time is about three hours. easyJet also operates non-direct flights to Klagenfurt Airport from a number of airports in the UK. The departure airport doesn't matter - to qualify for the deal, participants must simply arrive at Klagenfurt Airport with easyJet and be booked into a participating hotel. Make sure to quote "Special offer: free transfers from Klagenfurt Airport" at the time of booking.
