5 December 2018 from Danielle in 'Mountain weather''

After a bit of a slow start to the ski season, temperatures across the Alps are finally dropping, bringing flurries of snow to ski resorts in France and Austria. Temperatures are expected to stay cold through the weekend, hopefully bringing more snow later in the week so we can kick off this ski season once and for all!

Lech Zürs is enjoying the fresh snowfall

Weather forecast for the Alps

Born and raised in the ski paradise of Vancouver, Canada, I learned to ski before I can remember, balancing precariously on my parents’ skis as they sailed down the hill. I started snowboarding in my teens and am now delighted to be exploring everything Europe’s ski scene has to offer!
