Zell am Ziller in short

  • The beating heart of the Zillertal Arena
  • A charming, traditional village with plenty to do
  • Easy to reach by car and train
  • Beginners slopes located at high altitudes guaranteeing snow

While Gerlos and Königsleiten are renowned for their après-ski, in the ski resort of Zell im Zillertal things are much quieter. This spacious village has a pleasant centre with a nice cobblestone square, many cafes and boutiques. The evenings, however, are pleasantly quiet allowing both locals and guests to prepare for a new, exciting day on the slopes. Families with children have good reason to pick Zell im Zillertal as their favourite destination!

Some ski resorts take advantage of the ski pistes being closed to instal new lifts! Here you'll find a quick overview of the major new lifts that will be inaugurated for the 2019/20 ski season....
