The Olympiaregion Seefeld ski area has almost 40km of wonderfully maintained downhill slopes to suit every level. Nevertheless, the mountainous, wooded landscape of the Olympiaregion Seefeld seems as if it was expressly made for cross-country skiing. A lot of people seem to have agreed, and now an extensive and versatile cross-country ski area covering more than 200km, made up of 3 areas, certainly offers something for everyone whether they want to discover cross-country skiing or want a new challenge. The Olympiaregion Seefeld also has nordic tracks suitable for adaptive skiing, night skiing and even skiing with your dog!

The Olympiaregion Seefeld is made up of five villages: Leutasch, Mösern bei Seefeld, Reith, Scharnitz, and Seefeld. The Olympiaregion Seefeld owes its fame in particular to the Winter Olympic Games in 1964, 1976 and 2012, when it held several nordic skiing events. The Olympiaregion is also a several-time host of the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. Downhill skiers and cross-country skiers alike will appreciate the good value for money services in Seefeld despite the resort's chic aspect! There are some wonderful childrens' daycare facilities and a rich variety of alternative winter sports activities on offer. Aside from the many cross-country skiing trails, there are also around 100km of winter hiking trails for exploring this winter wonderland. Seefeld is just a half-hour drive from Innsbruck Airport.
