Ski area Oetz im Ötztal

Oetz is such a pretty little place that the expression ”small is beautiful" fits it just perfectly. This doesn't only apply to the ski resort itself - the ski area is the same. Apart from one slope requiring some experience, most of the runs are medium to easy, making this just paradise for children or beginners. From Oetz, ski areas such as Ötztal are easily accessible, offering somewhat more prestigious and more challenging skiing from a purely technical point of view.

The Hochoetz ski area at 2200m is reached by using the new 8-seater gondola lift in Oetz or the 4-seater gondola lift in Ochsengarten. With 40km of slopes in this ski area, this is a great place for beginner and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. There are some stunning views and a beautiful frozen lake to appreciate when you want to take a break. There are 10km of cross-country skiing trails that wind their way through the ski resort.
