The villages of Kössen, Walchsee and Schwendt are situated in the ski area of Kaiserwinkl where snow coverage is always guaranteed. The free shuttle service and the ski slopes spread out over two peaks ensuring fun for every kind of winter sports fan. The ski area Hochkössen, just next to Walchsee, has 35km of wonderful pistes between 650m and 1750m of altitude.

Beginners will find ideal practice slopes in the valley, while experts can hurtle down the good selection of black runs. The Zahmer Kaiser ski area, on the northern slopes of the Kaiser massif, offers 25km of perfectly prepared slopes which are particularly suitable for families. Cross-country ski trails spread over 140km with varied levels of difficulty.
