This friendly and welcoming resort is situated at the foot of the Hochkönig mountain. Here, there are approximately 150km of wonderful, marked runs. These runs are mainly red, but fun is also guaranteed for beginners with some good practice slopes. The black runs here are rather red meaning challenges for really expert skiers and a little limited.

Due to its tranquillity and its made to measure children's facilities, each year this resort is becoming more and more popular with families looking for a family-friendly ski holiday destination. The popular Königstour ski circuit in Austria’s Hochkönig ski resort is getting a facelift, with several lift upgrades and new pistes planned for the 2018/19 ski season. The new lifts will grant access to the Königstour from the Maria Alm, thanks to two cable car projects that will link the Natrun and Aberg ski areas.
