Ski area La Pierre Saint Martin

La Pierre Saint Martin is a small ski resort with its own ski area situated at an altitude of 1500 meters with slopes reach up to 2200 meters above sea level. From the La Pierre Saint Martin ski area you have a fantastic view over the valley and impressive surrounding mountains. Although the resort itself is not very attractive as it consists of large apartment complexes, the whole La Pierre Saint Martin ski area is ski-in, ski-out which largely makes up for the less attractive appearance.

The La Pierre Saint Martin ski area is ideal for families and children and beginner skiers who want to get the hang of skiing on simple, quiet ski slopes. La Pierre Saint Martin ski area has about 27 km of pistes, of which 7 are green, 11 blue, 8 are red and one black. There is also a funpark and a boardercross making this ski area very versatile and suitable for all types of skier and snowboarder. The area is served by 6 lifts, one of which is a drag lift and the other five chairlifts making the area idea for snowboarders who like to avoid the drag lifts. The ski area also has a large number of cross-country trails and a separate area for cross-country skiers. You will find some restaurants up on the slopes in the La Pierre Saint Martin ski area and in the village itself but for apres-ski there are only a few quiet bars.
