Albiez-Montrond (France)

Albiez Montrond, in the large ski area Les Sybelles is located at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level. This small, picturesque ski resort is located near Grenoble and the Italian border and is only a 1-hour drive from Chambery airport making it a great choice of ski resort for weeking skiing.

The small ski resort of Albiez Montrong in the French Alps is wonderful and very atmospheric place. There is a picturesque church on the top of the hill which the village was built around. Albiez Montrond is surrounded by beautiful "Aiguilles d'Arves" mountains which are particularly well-known. There are three peaks, the first of which looks like a cat's head and the other two are like identical twins. Albiez Montrond is linked to the Sybelles ski area but also has its own small ski area good for beginners and intermediate skiers. Albiez Montrond is a great choice for a relaxed family ski holiday with access to some excellent skiing.
