The Chabanon ski area is located near the small ski resort of Chabanon-Selonnet. This is a sunny ski area with 40 km of downhill ski slopes and 25 km of cross-country skiing trails. Chabanon has a good reputation when it comes to snow conditions. The ski area lies at an altitude of 1550 meters to 2050 meters.

Chabanon is especially suitable for families with young children. The ski area has plenty of slopes for children and / or beginners. There are 8 km of green runs and 7 km of blue pistes and there is even a baby ski lift! For more advanced skiers there are 11 km of red runs and 4 km of black runs. For snowboarders there is a snowpark. One of the highlights in the Chabanon ski area is that you can try night skiing as many of the slopes are floodlit at night. You can also try paragliding in the area around Chabanon-Selonnet.
