Ski area Whistler Blackcomb

Whistler-Blackcomb is Canada’s largest ski resort, with over 250km of slopes. The ski area is spread over two mountains: Whistler and Blackcomb, both of which offer so much terrain that you’ll easily be kept busy for several days without even having to make the trip across to the other one. If you do want to ski both mountains, the Peak 2 Peak Gondola will take you there in just 11 minutes. Whistler boasts an average yearly snowfall of 11m.

Typically Canadian, Whistler Blackcomb makes use of all its terrain and it’s not uncommon to see people dipping and swerving through the trees on fresh powder days. If you like sick gladed runs with waist-high moguls, you’ll find them off the 7th Heaven chair and at the bottom of the Crystal Ridge Express in Blackcomb. If you prefer blue cruisers, there are plenty on Solar Coaster Express, Harmony Express and Big Red Express. Up at the higher areas you’ll find some of the most renowned couloirs in North America, steep drops over cornices that plunge downwards between two cliff edges. Beginners need not fear - Blackcomb and Whistler both have special zones for kids and families. There are also several terrain parks. In short, Whistler-Blackcomb has everything.
