Ski and Snowboard Show London 2013

The Ski and Snowboard Show in London will take place from the 30th of October to the 3rd of November 2013 at Earls Court 2. You will soon forget that you are in central London as you take free ski and snowboard lessons, watch spectacular freestyle demos and have a drink in an après-ski style bar at the Norway Resorts bar!

Free ski and snowboard lessons

If you’ve never put skis on before but would like to have a go, there will be fully-trained instructors from The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead on site to show you the basics during free 30 minute taster sessions - a great way to get the hang of things before heading up the mountains for first ski holiday. For those looking to brush up their skills, after having been on a ski holiday 3 or 4 times, The Warren Smith Ski Academy will have instructors on site giving free 1 hour lessons packed with tips and advice! They will also have instructors ready to advise those wanting to have a go at freestyle skiing. If snowboarding is your thing, then the Onyx Snowboard School will be at the show to help you out with tips and tricks. And yes, these 1 hour lessons are completely free too!

Wine tasting sessions

If you fancy taking a break from all the exertion of walking around the show and taking free ski and snowboard lessons, then why not book a wine tasting session. You will spend an hour tasting wines from around the world hosted and introduced by an expert wine buyer from Virgin Wines. All you need to do to take part is book a place for £10 when booking your entry ticket – this includes your 6 tasters and a goody bag to take home with you! Once again, there will be limited spaces available so pre-booking is advised to avoid disappointment.

About Nikki

Being lucky enough to have parents who were crazy about skiing, my love for the mountains started when I was 4 years old on our first family ski holiday to Austrian ski resort of Obergurl. One ski holiday a year was never enough and tears rolled down my face as I looked out the back window of the car on the drive down the valley on the way home!
