And although the temperatures may be warming fast, most high-altitude ski resorts still offer guaranteed snow. Don’t miss out on this chance – after all, there’s nothing better than finishing up a day of skiing with a cold pint on a sunny mountain terrace!

But will there still be snow if I go skiing in spring?

Are you worried you might arrive at your ski resort and be faced with green meadows instead of white slopes? There’s no need to be so stressed – many ski resorts have guaranteed snow through spring, especially the ones with high-altitude ski areas. If you choose your ski resort wisely, spring can be the best time of the year for skiing, with warm, sunny days and a healthy mountain terrace culture. And that’s not to mention the end-of-season event calendar, when many ski resorts celebrate another great year with festivals and parties.

About Danielle

Born and raised in the ski paradise of Vancouver, Canada, I learned to ski before I can remember, balancing precariously on my parents’ skis as they sailed down the hill. I started snowboarding in my teens and am now delighted to be exploring everything Europe’s ski scene has to offer!
