Fresh snowfall for the opening of Les 3 Vallées this weekend

© Courchevel

The heavy snowfall that blessed Austria over the last few weeks has finally hit France, just in time for the ski season opening at Les Trois Vallées. From Courchevel to Val Thorens, the white stuff is coming down hard and it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Méribel received 20cm of fresh snow overnight and the whole 3 Vallées ski area is expecting even more snow over the next week. If you’re in the neighbourhood this weekend, Courchevel will kick off the ski season opening with a “chamallows party” featuring live music and hot drinks. Tomorrow should be a glorious ski day!

It's projected to snow all week at Courchevel

It was a very productive night 😍 Good news: It will snow all week! If you come to #Courchevel, don't forget your snow chains.

About Danielle

Born and raised in the ski paradise of Vancouver, Canada, I learned to ski before I can remember, balancing precariously on my parents’ skis as they sailed down the hill. I started snowboarding in my teens and am now delighted to be exploring everything Europe’s ski scene has to offer!
