Biberwier is located in the Tyrolean Zugspitze Arena ski area a few kilometers from the ski resorts of Lermoos and Ehrwald. Many skiers know Biberwier since this is the last place before you cross the Fernpass. Biberwier is especially popular among families with children since the prices are affordable and the ski slopes fairly simple and pleasant for family skiing.
The ski resort of Biberwier lies under the 1789 meter high Marienjoch. Advanced skiers will find the ski area limited and too easy but beginners feel very at home in this compact ski resort. For winter hikers and cross-country skiers there are also plenty of opportunities. There are several routes for lovely walks through the valley.
