On the borderline of the wide Zillertal and the narrow Tuxertal lies a small ski resort called Finkenberg. This peaceful spot is the perfect alternative to skiers who could not care less about being seen on the slopes at the dazzling Mayrhofen. The environment is truly magnificent and the ski area is vast. More than 200 kilometres of ski slopes in the Ski Zillertal 3000 ski area offer plenty of suitable downhill runs for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. A free bus will take you to the Hintertux Glacier, so there is no need to worry about lack of snow.
