Ski area Kappl

In Kappl, winter sports fans can easily access the main ski lifts located in and just below the village. In only 6 minutes a gondola lift reaches an altitude of 1800 meters where there are various easy blue and red ski runs awaiting beginners and intermediate skiers. With a total of 40 kilometres of ski slopes and 10 lifts that take you up to 2690 metres of altitude, Kappl ski area offers some good skiing and, above all, some superb views of the Tyrolean mountains from its slopes.

The generous, family-friendly ski area provides a great place for learning families. For more expert skiers, two beautiful black runs offer a real challenge for the most daring. With lots of sunshine, great snow conditions and fresh Tyrolean mountain air, every skier will enjoy a relaxing ski holiday in Kappl. There are plenty of Alpine lodges and mountain restaurants in which you can enjoy a leisurely break and maybe try some local specialties such as Kasnockn, Speckknödel or what about some Kaiserschmarrn!
