Ski area Evolène

The Val d’Herens with its main resorts of Evolène and Arolla can almost be defined as an open air museum. These are completely unspoilt resorts, in no way affected by the winter sports boom,with old haylofts and narrow alleyways. The 3 ski areas of Val d’Herens are decidedly smaller than that of the Val d’Anniviers, yet remain large enough for even ski connisseurs. Over 19km off cross-country runs and splendid walking trails enrich the choice of things to do.
