Ovronnaz (Switzerland)

The small ski resort of Ovronnaz is located in the French part of the Wallis region at the foot of the Muverans mountains where you can enjoy breathtaking views over the Rhone Valley. Ovronnaz was originally a thermal spa village before becoming a ski resort. After a day on the slopes you can relax in the "Thermalp les Bains", a thermal spa with water between 32 and 35°C. You will find 20 km of hiking trails around the village and there are several restaurants and bars in the centre. From Ovronnaz you can also visit towns like Martigny, a place with a Celtic-Roman history and Sion with its beautiful Chateau Valere.
