Ski area Andermatt

This ski area is very well-exposed with plenty of sunshine which does not put the quality of snow conditions at risk. The ski area is made up of 3 parts that differ in terms of altitude. The ski areas of Disentis and Sedrum are accessible by train. The entire ski resort of Andermatt is surrounded by the Wallis and Grabünden ski areas which are considered a paradise for off-piste skiing with its glacier offering 5 black runs.

Andermatt is a pretty and traditional ski resort with narrow cobbled streets and a lively atmosphere which you will also find up on the slopes in its mountain restaurants. With the largest share of the 60km of ski slopes in this area being black, the skiing here is challenging and fantastic for off-piste and ski touring fans - the fact that the Swiss Army train here often should give you a good idea of the level! There are plenty of blue and red runs too meaning this can be a good choice for families with older children, allowing parents to easily slip off for some serious skiing while the kids are not far away..
