Amidst the conifers and the impressive peaks of the Dolomites, lies the Italian winter sports destination called Canazei, the largest crowd puller of the Val di Fassa. Canazei is a pleasant spot which, despite a busy road traversing the village, has a friendly character. The ski area is large yet limited. Most ski runs near Canazei are red, which means beginners and advanced skiers must seek refuge further down the ski area. Therefore, the connection to the Val Gardena ski area is a welcome blessing.
