Ski area Ruhpolding

Chiemgau, a ski area that includes the well-known resorts of Ruhpolding and Inzell, is situated in southeast Germany. Chiemgau is a versatile winter resort, with a wide range of facilities for skiers and snowboarders, without forgetting the kilometres of groomed runs for cross-country skiing lovers. Up to an altitude of 1800m there are runs for beginners and advanced skiers, as well as good facilities for children. If natural snow is lacking, there are plenty of snow cannons to act as a back-up.

Chiemgau is formed by multiple ski areas with a total of 30km of pistes between them. At the Hochfelln (1674m) in Chiemgau, beginners, families and even more advanced skiers will find something to suit them. The blue pistes of the Bründling Alm are ideal for cruising, with a stop for coffee or lunch at the Hochfelln Haus which serves up delicious German specialties. Over in the Kampenwand ski area you'll find a lovely 5km-long valley run. The family-friendly Hocheck near Oberaudorf offers floodlit pistes for night skiing several times a week.
