Les Karellis (France)

The village of Karellis is located in the heart of the of the Maurienne valley in Savoie. Built in 1975, the village does not have a particularly attractive architecture. However, everything here is focused on the comforts and needs of the skier. If you’re looking for a little culture, then you can visit the villages of Albanne (6 km Karellis) and Montricher (5 km Karellis). The capital of Maurienne - Saint Jean de Maurienne - is located 15 km from Karellis and also offers many cultural activities.

This ski resort is perfect for families. Karellis has been awarded the "Famille Plus" label and offers plenty of activities for children, teens and adults. There are several childcare centers for each age group. Those who do not ski can also have fun here as there are several workshops, including a dance workshop. The village organizes hiking and dog-sleigh tours and those who want to relax after a long day on the slopes, there is a sauna, Jacuzzi and hammam. During the evenings there are activities such as karaoke, concerts, dancing, cabarets, etc, organized to keep everyone entertained. There are 2 restaurants in the village but if you want more choice, you can visit the surrounding villages which are close by.
