Ski area Les Deux Alpes

Les Deux Alpes is located at an altitude of 1650m. Les Deux Alpes' ski area is well-known for its lively après-ski scene and high-altitude slopes with guaranteed snow cover - with even summer skiing possible on its glacier! The ski area is also known for its multiple hours of sunshine, as well as for the fantastic off-piste terrain you'll find here. The villages of Les Deux Alpes are rather sprawling, with various styles of accommodation ranging from traditional to concrete-block. There is a good variety of accommodation within easy reach of the slopes.

The Les Deux Alpes ski area boasts an efficient lift system and lots of sunny south-facing slopes. A good selection of beginner slopes can be found right near the resort as well as up on the glacier - a wonderful place to learn to ski or snowboard while enjoying the beautiful views. Intermediate skiers are spoilt for choice in Les Deux Alpes and experts and powder hounds can take the challenge on the legendary 'La Grave' off-piste run nearby (when the conditions are right, of course). There is a challenging boardercross, snow park (one of the best in Europe) and halfpipe for snowboarders to get their teeth into! A 6-day lift pass also covers a day's skiing in Serre-Chevalier or Alpe d'Huez.
