Le Sauze (France)

Le Sauze is the oldest resort in the Ubaye area and is located at 1400 m with Le Sauze Super Sauze, a small ski resort set 300 meters higher. Both share the Super Sauze ski area which offers 65 km of slopes and is especially suitable for beginners and children because the slopes are generally quite flat and wide. Cross-country skiers have access to 15 km of tracks and can connect to nearby Larche, where 30 km of tracks of all levels can be found. For snowboarders, there are no special facilities but hikers can take some beautiful trails through the Parc National du Mercantour.
