Laye (France)

Laye, also known as Laye en Champsaur, is a small French village in the southwest of the Champsaur valley. It lies 10 km from the town of Gap and 5 km from the main village (Saint-Bonnet-en-Champsaur) in the valley. The small village of Laye lies at an altitude of 976 meters above sea level and is a peaceful spot ideal for first-time ski holidays.

The village of Laye is very small and has hardly any facilities. In the village you will find several restaurants and a hotel. Laye is best known for its ski area. The Laye ski area is perhaps not very big, but it is connected to the other ski areas in the valley. This village is ideal for rest and families with small children who want to learn to ski and get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
