The ski area is amazingly beautiful and the views are unbeatable. The supermarket and lifts were nearby, loads of great hiking trails in the area and hardly any wait times for the lifts. Friendly staff and good facilities.
La Rosiere is small, cozy and perfect for families. No big nightlife scene. In January there was no-one there and we never queued for lifts and the slopes were empty. The off-piste is just wonderful especially between the Plan du Repos and Fort chair...

Our 5 and 6 year olds learnt to ski for first time, and they loved La Rosiere. Great ski school, and didn't feel overcrowded. Also our ski chalet at Chalet Chez Robert was just 150 metres from the lift - a godsend at the end of the day.
