Les Contamines (France)

The mountain road does not go beyond the French ski resort of Les Contamines. With no through roads there is an overwhelming sense of peace and quiet here where you can appreciate the stunning views of the Mont Blanc mountain range in perfect harmony with the surroundings.

The ski resort of Les Contamines is rather spread out with the ski slopes at one end of this mountain village. A free ski bus will take you to the valley station of the ski area which is connected to the ski slopes of the sunny Hauteluce. Make sure you're back in time to catch the bus, because the distance between both villages is quite far! You can reach the 400 km of pistes in the famous Evasion Mont-Blanc ski area from here. Les Contamines has a good day care centre for children and several pleasant bars for cozy apres-ski.
