The sunny family ski area of Chaillol is situated at between altitudes of 1450 meters and 2000 meters above sea level, with an exceptional view of the surrounding mountains. The ski area is located near the village of Saint-Michel-de-Chaillol and is linked with two other ski areas : Laye and Saint-Leger-Les-Mélèzes. There is a free ski bus between the three ski areas.

The Chaillol ski area has about 15 km of pistes spread over 13 runs. There are three green runs, 5 blue runs and five red runs. The Chaillol ski area has no black runs which makes it especially suitable for beginners and families with young children. Chaillol has 8 drag lifts and 2 chairlifts. For children there is a toboggan run and a snow garden. In Chaillol you may also try snowshoeing, dog sledding and horse riding.
