At the foot of the highest mountain of the Czech Republic, the Snezka, at an altitude of 1602 metres, you will find a ski resort called Pac pos Snezkou. Pac pos Snezkou, together with Janske Lazne and Spinderluv Min, makes up the Ski Arena Krkonose. This ski area in the Giant Mountains is one of the largest, but also one of the snowiest areas in the Czech Republic. Snow is normally guaranteed for six months. The area has several cross-country ski routes while the ski bus makes sure the villages remain connected.
