Deep in the heart of the Laurentians lies Mont Tremblant, widely regarded as the best ski area in Eastern North America. The ski area is divided over four mountain faces, with large swathes of south-facing, sunny terrain. Annual snowfall generally hovers between a modest 3-5m, but the snowmaking facilities are more than adequate and ensure decent snow cover throughout the season.

Almost half of the terrain here is for advanced skiers, with some slopes reaching an incline of up to 42°. There are also 30 acres of landscaped freestyle terrain distributed over three snow parks. Snowpark features are constantly being updated for an ever-evolving freestyle experience. If you have a lot of energy you can also try alpine touring, hiking up and skiing down on special marked routes. Racing and freestyle programs are available, as are ski and snowboard lessons for adults and children 6 years and up. Little ones will have a blast practising their skills on the Tim-Tam Trail, a kids’ zone featuring animal sculptures, fun obstacles and a treehouse.
