As they are preparing for their 30th winter season in the Alps in Switzerland, Austria and Italy, Powder Byrne are proud to say that they were the first to embark on bespoke skiing experiences and their Original Skiing programme still represents the values and ideas they put on paper back in 1985 – with plenty of improvements and updates of course!
‘Nothing is too much trouble’ is the attitude you need if you want to be part of the Powder Byrne team along with an overflowing enthusiasm and attention to detail. The team consists of experts in many domains – from being able to fit the right accommodation to the right family to knowing the ins and outs of ski school organisation in your chosen ski resort. With 30 years of shared knowledge, there is ALMOST nothing they don’t know – they are always willing to learn and improve of course if there is something!
If you’re passionate about something, I think you’ll agree there is nothing better than either sharing your passion with someone equally passionate or introducing it to someone for the very first time. Being lucky enough to have parents who were crazy about skiing, my love for the mountains started when I was 4 years old on our first family ski holiday to Austrian ski resort of Obergurl. One ski holiday a year was never enough and tears rolled down my face as I looked out the back window of the car on the drive down the valley on the way home!
