Encourage your kids to try snowboarding...

If you’re a snowboarding fan, then why not let your children get hooked too and discover the sport in the specially designed "jardin des neige du snow". There are free initiations organised for under tens to help them achieve their first turns. This project is the initiative of the Burton brand and your little ones will no doubt love snowboarding after the special welcome reserved just for them.

You don’t have to worry about anything ... Burton takes care of everything: boards, boots, helmets ... and coaching in a specially designed kids area. It's free and every day around 3pm, snacks and drinks are offered for the participants and their parents. Burton even offers a gift bag for each budding snowboarder with an inflatable guitar and some Burton Goodies!

Enjoy a free Happy Hour!

On the Saturday of each weekend at 3.30pm at the bottom of the slopes, the "after-ride" is held. Mulled wine and roast chestnuts are offered by the organisers and Gaston Pluto, our champion air guitarist, takes care of the music and the atmosphere ... what better why to end the day!!

Back to the serious snowboarding! Snowsurf organise a competition where jibbers compete on an urban set-up lasting 1 hour – this promises to be pretty thrilling!

Rock on...

After sunset, concerts are held in the most popular bar in each ski resort and everyone gets together to talk about the day, share a drink and listen to some great rock music...

If you like rock music and snowboarding, this is one event not to be missed this season ...

About Nikki

Being lucky enough to have parents who were crazy about skiing, my love for the mountains started when I was 4 years old on our first family ski holiday to Austrian ski resort of Obergurl. One ski holiday a year was never enough and tears rolled down my face as I looked out the back window of the car on the drive down the valley on the way home!
