Heli-skiing in Zermatt: Off-piste mecca at the Matterhorn

Heli-skiing in Zermatt is a dream come true. Even the helicopter ride alone would be worth it, as you soar over the Matterhorn and enjoy stunning views of the Alps. The helicopter will land in one of five places, two of which are located in the Matterhorn Ski Paradise, on the Rothorn and on the Testa Grigia. Practical info: Heli-skiing in Zermatt

Flights from Raron cost CHF 1190 and CHF 1340 for flights to the Unterrothorn or the Testa Grigia, respectively. Each flight can accommodate 4-5 people including the guide – it’s mandatory to have a guide and you’ll have to reckon a cost of about CHF 400-600 per day for the guide. Departing from Zermatt, the costs are slightly cheaper: flights to the Monte Rosa, Alphubeljoch or Aeschilhorn cost about CHF 360-390 per person, including the price of the guide.
