Werfenweng (Austria)

A stone's throw from the motorway right under the beautiful Tennengbirge lies Werfenweng which is a real family ski resort with most hotels offering special children's discounts. The lift passes are cheaper for families and the ski schools offer good childcare in this small and pleasant ski area. Evenings are very peaceful here with no real après-ski. The Werfenwengers like calling their ski area a ski circus, because there is a kind of mini skiing circuit. From Wengerau and Zaglau lifts take you up to seven ski lifts at the tree line.
