Ski area Reith im Alpbachtal

An 8-seater gondola lift from Inneralpbach to the top of the Schatzberg has been recently installed ensuring the link between Alpbach and Wildschönau. The result of this link is the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau ski area, a vast area with access to around 130km of slopes meaning it it considered to be among the largest ski areas in the Tyrol region! The connection between the two valleys (the ski resorts of Wildschönau and Alpbach) has given a new dynamic feel in the area and the inhabitants hope to attract many more skiers and snowboarders looking for something new. The ski area stretches from Reith in the west and to the east of Niederau. Between these 2 points is a versatile ski area with a range of ski slopes where every skier can enjoy him/herself. Advanced skiers will find a challenge on the slopes of the Schatzberg, while families with children and beginners will prefer the Reither Kogel and Gmahkopf.
