Rauris (Austria)

In the past people used to visit the Austrian Rauris purely to find gold in the region. Today the purpose of their visits is slightly different, judging by the fact that Rauris has more guest beds than inhabitants. Nevertheless, this destination never let go of its authentic character. The higher ski slopes are slightly less suitable for beginners than in the lower area, however the view of the Hohe Tauern from here is definitely worth seeing.
