Superdévoluy (France)

A perfect example of a 1960s French ski resort is the compact, practical resort of Superdévoluy. The basic idea was to accommodate as many facilities as possible in one large building to have everything within easy reach. Superdévoluy consists of several large buildings which are home to apartments, shops, restaurants and the Tourist Information Office. Because of its design, the ski lifts to the lovely ski area, made up of 100 km of slopes, are never too far away. Superdévoluy has something for skiers of all levels and has some particularly challenging downhill runs for experts to get their teeth into.
