Unterbäch is a municipality in the Swiss Valais and belongs to the Westlich Raron district. South of Unterbäch is the 2972 meter high Augstbordhorn. You can go for either a relaxing or active holiday here as the mountains and the surrounding area offer plenty of opportunities and variety of activities. Unterbäch is also called the "Rütli der Schweizer Frau", as the first elections in which women were allowed to vote were held here in 1957.
