Ybrig (Switzerland)
The idyllic villages of Oberiberg and Unteriberg are among the oldest spa resorts in Switzerland. When, in Oberiberg in 1938, the first ski lift of the area was built, there were only three other ski lifts in Switzerland! Although the conditions were ideal to develop the mountains surrounding these villages, it was decided to limit construction and therefore, the landscape has been preserved and the villages have maintained their charm and are not flooded by crowds of tourists.
