Passo Tonale in short
-
Height: 1883 metres
-
Large ski area with glacier and a lot of sun
-
Pure winter sports village with many facilities
-
Pleasant après-ski
The first hotel that was built in Passo Tonale, found in the ski area of Val di Sole, was the Sporthotel in Vittoria in 1918. Passo Tonale has a richer background than many people might think. The place itself is anything but ugly while the large newly developed complexes are hidden along the edge of the village. Nightlife here is excellent thanks to the many entertaining bars and discos. This is one reason why Passo Tonale is a popular destination among relatively young guests who travel to Italy. Those in search of peace and quiet might appreciate better the neighbouring village of Ponte di Legno.
