Les Brasses (France)

Les Brasses is the name of a collection of smaller ski resorts in the Haute-Savoie department in the Rhône Alpes. The resorts are in this area are Onnion, Bogève and St. Jeoire. The Massif des Brasses extends between the Mont Blanc in the south and Lake Geneva in the north. In contrast to the nearby [IL: FRHASA012] and [IL: FRHASA009] people come here to practice winter sports in a more leisurely fashion...

Onnion is the largest ski resort in Les Brasses and here you have, like from Bogève, access to the 50-kilometer ski area. Like the other small ski resorts of Les Brasses, this is a typical French village with a bakery, a supermarket and several restaurants with the typical Savoyard buildings that give the area its charm. This is the ideal ski resort for families with children who are looking for tranquility. For après-ski, you will have to venture to Geneva!
