Gresse-en-Vecors is located in the Regional Natural Park of Vercors and offers beautiful scenery. Huge cliffs, meadows, forests and rivers - nature is abound here. Gresse - en-Vercors itself consists of old mountain huts and small stone houses with a beautiful church dedicated to St. Bartholomew, which dates from the 13th century in its centre. In the village you will find a cinema and a sauna with steam room to ease away the aches and pains after a day of skiing or snowboaring! You don't come to Gresse-en-Vecors for wild nightlife as there no bars or discos. However the restaurants offer excellent regional cuisine and a cozy apres-ski atmosphere. Gresse - en-Vercors has its own ski area . The area lies at an altitude of 1250 to 1750 meters and offers a stunning setting. There are about 24 pistes and a snow park. Cross-country skiers can find all they need to about 50 km of cross country trails.
