The charming French ski resort of Gerardmer is located by a large lake and forms part of the agglomeration of Saint-Dié-des-Vosges, also known as the Vosges. This forested region situated in the north is visited by many downhill and cross-country skiers each year.
In the winter season the whole area is transformed into a wonderful, relaxed ski area that, thanks to its low altitude, is particularly suitable for beginners and families who prefer gentler slopes. Gerardmer has been awarded the Famille Plus Montagne label which means you are guaranteed to find a high quality of services for your family ski holidays. Snowboarders will love the snowpark situated in the Super-Châtel / Barbossine area. There is a great choice of apres-ski activities for all tastes. Gerardmer is in the heart of the Haute-Vosges not far from Alsace and the border with Germany.
