Espace Cambre d'Aze is a ski resort consisting of two small villages - Eyne and Saint-Pierre-dels-Forcats. Both villages have around 200 inhabitants and are very quiet. The ski resort, Espace Cambre d'Aze is located at the foot of the Cambre d'Aze mountain whose peak reaches 2,750 meters above sea level.
The village of Eyne is the smallest of the two villages in the Espace Cambre d'Aze area, but has a certain historic value. It is rich in archaeological finds, consisting of ancient tombs and menhirs. Eyne has a cozy and picturesque appearance and is the heart of the ski resort. Here you'll find most of the restaurants, bars and ski accommodation. The resort's one hotel is in Eyne. Saint-Pierre-dels-Forcats is larger than Eyne but less attractive. Both villages complement each other and together form the ski resort of Espace Cambre d' Aze, where you can find skiing especially suitable for families with young children, who are looking for tranquility on the ski slopes. There is no apres-ski here so don't come to Cambre d'Aze expecting to party all night! You will find plenty of fresh local produce as there are many farms where you can buy local specialties directly .
